Ran-Dumb Fun Fall Kick-Off: "September Holidays"

Looking for something fun and completely ran-dumb to kick off your school year in September?? Why not try celebrating one of wonderful holidays that happen during the month here are some ran-dumb suggestions...

-  September 1st: International Bacon Day
Serve up some hot and fresh bacon and make your new youth group year sizzle?? Maybe play a little "Steal the Bacon" (or "Steal the Bacon 3.0" variations), or show some great bacon-based products check out the "Ran-dumb Fun" section above!

- September 4th: Eat an Extra Dessert Day
A great excuse for an all-you-can-eat dessert buffet to kick off your youth group year!!

- September 9th: National Grandparents Day
Why not have a inter-generational kick off to the school year.  Get a little "Orange" about the whole thing

- September 9th: Wiener Schnitzel Day
Come on really do I need to say more.  The word "Wiener" and JH/MS boys, it is a sure fire way to get them coming back out after summer.  There so MANY great hot dog based games, it would be awesome!

- September 10th: TV Dinner Day
Play a little "feel the meal" or serve up some piping hot meatloaf ...the lesson connections, game ideas are endless!

- September 19th: Talk Like a Pirate Day
This one pretty much doesn't need explanation or suggestion.  This is golden any which way you say it!

Hope this gave you some inspiration or got your creative juices flowing. Hope you have a great youth group year!!
